The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade
23rd - 31st October
Join us after dusk on the 23rd – 31st October for our Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade and see the woods in a whole new light at BeWILDerwood’s most fantastical event of the year!
Adventure through a magical light extravaganza and watch the story unfold as you journey through the woods down mysterious paths exclusive to this event.
Start your adventure at dusk and craft your own Boggle Bindle Lantern to help the Boggles light up the woods at Hazel’s Hideaway, before embarking on a journey through BeWILDerwood like you have never seen before! Navigate your way through the beautifully lit twilight woodland and keep a look out for hints of the BeWILDerwood characters peering out to say ‘yoo-hoo!’ along the way. But don’t worry if you aren’t the bravest Boggle – it’s spoooky not scary!
A wonderful array of yummy grub will be available at the onsite Munch bar, including warming snacks and hot drinks. Why not celebrate this magical time of year with spooktacular costumes too? Don’t be afraid to dress up as a nice witch, BeWILDerBat, Creepy Crawly or even a Crocklebog!
The Parade has scheduled arrival time slots and is a separate ticketed event. Tickets need to be booked online in advance. If visitors wish to play in the woods during the day and embark on a magical walk in the evening, they will need to make two separate bookings. Tickets to this event are £10 each (under 92cm, wheelchair users and carers are freeee!) This event takes place on the 23rd-31st October.

Can we play on the structures during the Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade?
Nope, sorry! It’s a bit too dark to be playing on our soopa structures. The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade allows guests to see the park in a whole new light, exploring the WILD woods in ways that have never been imagined before! You never know which characters may be lurking in some of your favourite treehouses and mazes…
But don’t worry, if you do wish to play you can always book a day ticket toooo!
If we’ve got tickets to play in the woods during the day, can we stay in the park until our evening time slot?
No, sorry! We will close the park each day at 5pm to all visitors. You then re-enter the park via a new entrance at your chosen time slot! Ooooo!
What age is this event suitable for?
The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade is suitable for aaall ages!
Will food be available?
Oooh yes, a wonderful array of yummy grub will be available at the onsite Munch bar, including warming snacks and hot drinks
Is this event scary?
The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade is spooky, but definitely not scary! The BeWILDerwood Halloween experience is more about beautiful lights, nice witches, pumpkins, cobwebs and magic rather than scary, unpleasant sorts of things!
Is the event pushchair/wheelchair/mobility scooter friendly?
We are in a natural woodland environment, so some areas are bumpy and uneven. However, our Boggle Builders have worked hard to make the route as accessible as possible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies. Being a quite a long walk through the woods, we do recommend bringing pushchairs or carriers for small humans as their little legs may get tired!
Will we get to meet the characters?
Oooh, some of BeWILDerwood’s most beloved creatures will be around to say a “yoohoo” to their favourite explorers! If you listen and look carefully during your adventure you may even hear the Twiggles and Boggles scampering through the trees and marshes…
Can I switch my date/time slot?
Tickets are very limited so this will be on a first come, first serve basis, and once booked we will be unable to switch times/dates for The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade event! We recommend double (and triple) checking your selected date and time before it’s too late!
Can we dress up?
Yes, dressing up is encouraged and you will see our Twiggle Team sporting their favourite Halloween garments tooo! We just love to see everyone celebrating this magical time of year with their spooktacular costumes, so don’t be afraid to dress up as a nice witch, BeWILDerBat, Creepy Crawly or even a Crocklebog!
